Update on our Petition(s)

We are not there yet, but we are gaining momentum. Here is an update on our Petition to put and end to illegal FDA Compliance Policies that allow rendered waste into pet foods/animal foods.
The Whitehouse.gov petition, which was difficult to sign for many (including myself), currently has 664 signatures of the needed 25,000. A day or two later, because of the difficulty the Whitehouse website caused, we took our petition to Change.org. Our petition on Change.org currently has 814 of the needed 25,000.
We are gaining ground, but we still have a long way to go. Please, please, please - sign both petitions if you can and forward both links to every pet owner/animal lover you know. Just how a petition backed down major banks from charging new fees - we can change the future of all pet foods and animal foods. Please sign and forward.

"WOW! Sometimes, you just never know who your friends know when it comes to a petition! I sent it to everyone I had emails for and one of my friends sent this back: "I have a dear friend who is connected down state and he just sent it to 750 people and asked them in turn to email their contacts"!!! So please send your emails out to help as the end of November will be here before you know it!"

Hi Susan,
I just checked the petition site and it showed that only 1,200 people signed. Is this right? I recieved an email back from my agility instructor this morning and she sent it on to 300+ contacts and got back a lot of replies that they signed and sent it on. Do you think it is registering with the site properly? I sincerely hope the 24,000 signatures are met. This pet food charade has just GOT TO STOP!
