This has nothing to do with pet food and this isn't a nice story but it does have a good ending. But not a good ending for The Chesterfield 22. The Chesterfield 22 are/were 22 dogs that were shot to death in Chesterfield County, SC taken from the sheriff run shelter across the street to a landfill and killed. As sickening as this story is, there needs to be attention made of the brave people who reported this and the follow up rescues that occurred.
